Benvenuti a Salina!
Ho scelto di tornare nuovamente nelle Isole Eolie per potermi godere gli ultimi giorni della mia pazza estate… le Eolie sono un sogno e per quanto mi siano familiari e a portata di mano , non smettono mai di incantarmi… Salina è un isola imponente, la sua sagoma massiccia che emerge portentosa dalle acque del Tirreno mi ha sempre suscitato un enorme emozione, quasi un timore reverenziale si fa strada nel mio cuore…Più forte e piu intenso del timore suscitatomi dalla vista dell’impetuoso IDDU, lo STROMBOLI. Giunta sull’isola , l’emozione cresce ancora più forte ! Esiste un luogo incantato dove decido sempre di tornare per trascorrere il mio soggiorno a Salina. In questo luogo spazio e tempo sono sospesi, tutto è rarefatto. Il paesaggio, i colori, il cielo, il mare, le nere scultoree scogliere,i tramonti che sembrano essere di pura seta, rimandano ad un unico concetto:l’infinito. Ecco Pollara! La location è l’enorme bocca di un cratere semi sommerso. Uno scoglio solitario affiora al centro della baia quasi a volerci indicare le coordinate del cratere. In lontananza avvolte da un magico silenzio Filicudi e Alicudi sono le uniche spettatrici di questo teatro fatato. Se lo si guarda attentamente facendo un lento girotondo, si percepisce nettamente, da questa prospettiva da visionari cool, che siamo realmente dentro la bocca di un titanico e potente gigante suo malgrado domato dal mare. Qui a Pollara scelgo sempre di sostare nella Locanda del Postino un delizioso B & B che si affaccia direttamente sulla baia incantata . Mauro e Amelia, due miei cari e vecchi amici, si prendono cura dei loro ospiti facendoli sentire a casa, soprattutto preparando loro strepitose cenette con ingredienti freschissimi cucinati con le tradizionali ricette eoliane. La mia vacanza è stata di soli quattro giorni, ma sono stati molto intensi… In valigia ho messo dei costumi e capi facili da mixare con gli occhiali Flowers della nuova collezione Prada Poeme. In realtà ero impaziente di mettere alla prova la mia nuova Canon powerShot N, una piccolisima camera digitale che promette scatti super creativi. Senza voler tradire la mia fotocamera preferita, la Canon reflex digitale, che rimane sempre insostuibile, la neo arrivata in casa Canon è un piccolo genio!
Welcome to Salina!
I decided to come back again to Eolian Islands to enjoy the last days of my crazy summer…Eolian Islands are a dream and as matter are familiar and close at hand never cease to fascinate me. Salina is a massive island, its massive portentous outline that emerges from the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea has always aroused a huge emotion,almost in awe makes its way into my heart … Stronger and more intense the fear that the sight of the impetuous Iddu, the Stromboli, provoked in me. Arrived on the island, the excitement grows even stronger! In fact there is an enchanted place where ever I decide to come back to spend my stay in Salina. In this place, time and space are suspended, everything is rarefied. The landscape, the colors, the sunsets, the sky, the sea, the black sculptured cliffs that seem to be of pure silk, refer to a single concept: the infinite. Here Pollara! The location is the huge mouth of a semi submerged crater. One solitary rock outcrops in the middle of the bay almost to want to tell the coordinates of the crater. In the distance, wrapped in a magical silence Filicudi and Alicudi are the only spectators of this enchanted theater. If you look closely making a slow circle, you feel clearly, from this perspective by visionaries cool, that we are really inside the mouth of a gigantic and powerful giant who despite himself is tamed by the sea. Here in Pollara I always choose to stay in the Locanda del Postino, a lovely B & B that overlooks the enchanted bay. Mauro and Amelia, two of my dear old friends, they take care of their guests and make them feel at home, especially their amazing dinners prepared with the freshest ingredients cooked with traditional Eolian recipes .My vacation was only four days, but were very intense … In case I put the swimsuites and clothes that are easy to mix with my sunglasses Flowers of the new collection Prada Poeme. In fact I was eager to try out my new Canon PowerShot N, a very small digital camera that promises super creative shots. Without wishing to betray my favorite camera, the Canon digital Reflex, which is always insostuibile, the newly arrived home in Canon is a little genius!
